Lincoln Electric ER308L

The Lincoln Electric ER308L stainless TIG filler rod is filler metal for GTAW/TIG welding under AWS A5.9 ER308L classification. It is focused on joints in 304 and 304L austenitic stainless steel, equipment maintenance, fabrication of stainless parts, supports, tanks and jobs where the welder needs bead control and puddle cleanliness. Its low carbon helps on stainless joints where the procedure requires preserving corrosion resistance in the welded zone. Within the SoldaForce family, this reference differs from ER309L because it is not intended as the first option for dissimilar joining; ER308L is selected when the stainless base materials are mutually compatible.
